Stalk through the woods

Personal illustration — an orc hunter stalking through a springtime forest. My focus here was lighting: soft, dappled sunlight filtering through the canopy to capture the freshness of the season, while keeping a tense, predatory mood in the pose and gaze. Full illustration process: composition studies, color script, then rendered in Photoshop.
